To save time and make your pet’s visit smooth and less stressful, it is recommended that you do the following prior to the appointment:
- Your pet must be inside and readily available at the time of the appointment (a finding fee may be charged).
- Please have your dog wearing his/her collar with leash on hand prior to the visit.
- Please make sure cats or kittens are easily accessible (you may confine them to a small room if needed e.g. bathroom, laundry room).
- All pocket pets, birds, etc. must be in some type of enclosure/cage.
- All owners are expected to hold their pet during examination and vaccinations. (If you feel that you cannot fulfil this e.g. physical limitations, aggressive animal, or other reason, please let Dr. Evelyn know at time of booking so she can bring an assistant.) Depending on the circumstance, an assistant fee may be charged.
- If your pet has an extensive medical history, please have an extra copy of your pet’s previous medical history on hand. This allows the vet to become more familiar with your pet’s needs and previous medical problems.
